Memorial Day Weekend

The Memorial Day weekend is approaching. As we've been hearing people talk about their plans to go out of town, camp, and alike, we're going to be closed this coming Sunday and Monday (Memorial Day).

We finally got our order of the German Milka Alpine Chocolate. Absolute deliciousness! I've been telling people the milk used in this chocolate is from happy cows-- Alpine cows! No wonder it's super tasty!

Living Traditions Festival

The Living Traditions Festival is taking place at the Salt Lake City & County Building this weekend. There's performances, food, and other fun stuff going on at the festival and tons of people are attending this great event!

We get some more new people coming to the caffe today. Since the City & County Building is half a block away from us, the festival does bring tons of foot traffic by the caffe. We're glad to get to meet some new faces this weekend due to the festival!

There are, however, some people who'd walk right through the caffe (without even saying "hi" to us!) trying to use the restrooms. As many people might have noticed, we now have locks on our restrooms. Our guest can obtain tokens (and yes, they are tiny little cute tokens) for the restrooms. The locks are now helping us keep the restrooms safe and clean for our guests.

People's been coming in and telling us there are great "cultural foods" at the festival. We shall each take some time off tomorrow to go check out the exciting festival!

Crazy Html

Yiching is busy learning basic HTML.
I asked if she could pour some HTML art.
She said, "no"
Probaby just needs more practice.

Demitasse Spoons

We finally got our shipment of the very special demitasse spoons. Now we can put them with the demitasse and cappuccino cups and the combination will look "perfectly proportioned."

Peach Bubble Tea!

With the most recent shipment of order from Taiwan we got real peach juice syrup for our flavored bubble tea! It's indeed very peachy. Several of our friends and customers have tried it and loved it. Rachael even tried it with custard and blueberry and loved them both!

So far we've confirmed that peach bubble tea is super delish and "peach custard" along with "peach blueberry milk tea" are both fantastic. I wonder what other combinations people will come up with. :)

Come try our peach bubble teas!
